Should Christians be tolerant of other people's religious beliefs?
In our age of “tolerance,” moral relativism is touted as the supreme virtue. Every philosophy, idea, and faith system has equal merit, says the relativist, and is worthy of equal respect. Those who favor one faith system over another or—even worse—claim a knowledge of absolute truth are considered narrow-minded, unenlightened, or even bigoted.

Tensions are growing on college campuses between Jewish and Muslim student groups.
An incident in early February at the University of California- Irvine in Southern California was apparently just the latest in a string at that university.
Muslim students began heckling Israeli Ambassador Michael Orin when he came to speak at the University.
The disturbance continued for close to 20 minutes, until Orin could no longer wait for the group to subside, and left the pulpit.
Jewish Teen’s prayers cause Terrorism hysteria on airplane

A Jewish teenager, attempting to say his morning prayers, caused a terrorism alert on a US Airways airplane Thursday.
The plane had left New York and was going to Kentucky. Instead, it was redirected to Philadelphia, grounded, and surrounded by local and federal authorities, including dogs sniffing for bombs.
The boy had taken out his tefillin, as is stated in the Jewish Torah that every male thirteen and over is supposed to do daily as part of his prayer time.
Does the Bible Put Women Down?

Feminists and political correctness advocates often ask the question, “Does the Bible put women down?” The Bible, Jesus’ words and His actions give a loud, resounding “No.”
When the “Feminist Movement” gained strength in the 1960’s, it was a fight for equal jobs, equal pay and respect for women. Absentee husbands and dads were called to task for their commitments. The second stage was women engaging in bra-burning and buying the message that casual sex would break our invisible chains. Helen Reddy’s 1972 song “I Am Woman” became the iconic feminist theme.
When can we have peace?

It’s hard to separate what’s going on in the world today from Bible prophecy and eschatology, because it all seems to be coming true.
With the constant enmity between Israel and her Middle Eastern enemy nations, we could easily be taken in by the ranting of a sensation-hungry media that seems to cater to the likes and dislikes of Islamic terrorists. Our most recent example is the scrambling to come up with every excuse in the world for the attack on Fort Hood beside the fact that it may have been an act of extreme terrorism. Some evolving facts point in that direction. Hopefully, we will conclude for certain it was not.
Thanksgiving – why bother?

Including public prayers to God on Thanksgiving is becoming as “politically incorrect” as mentioning Christ on Christmas.
In 2005, the Maryland Board of Education began teaching their students that the Pilgrims landed on the American continent by luck. In the new public school curriculum, in effect re-naming Thanksgiving “Lucky Thursday” per some sources, students are not taught that God had any part in the thank you for what the Pilgrims had. The Board of Education felt they were facing a constitutional dilemma.
How Much do You Know about the Jewish People? Part Two

When we left George in Part 1, he needed answers to ten questions as a way to improve his friendship with Simon. It’s just the tip of a huge iceberg of information, but it would be so helpful if Christians could know these things before springing the gospel message on their Jewish friends.
How good is my knowledge of the Old Testament compared to the New? I can relate a helpful story. My friend Betsy was raised in a “New Testament Christian” family. They believed the New Testament “overcame” the Old. But when she met and married a pastor, she discovered many Old Testament prophecies by comparing them to New Testament scriptures. The New Covenant between God and his people doesn’t overcome the Old; it enhances it.

A Christian named George has become friends with Simon, a Jewish man. George hasn’t yet found a way to approach the subject of the gospel with Simon. One day, he invites Simon to a party.
“I’m sorry, George, I can’t go that night,” Simon says. ”It’s the start of the Jewish New Year.”
“Jewish new year?” asks George. ”I knew you had a separate one, but I didn’t know when.”
“Yeah, we sort of celebrate it for ten days leading up to Yom Kippur,” Simon replies.

Abortion is another topic that has been receiving a lot of media attention, why is that still such a hot topic today?
Because the Pro-life lobby is in disarray and weak, as it was beaten badly in the last election. The media is having a great time mocking, and trying to put the last nail in the coffin.
