If you’ve got an iPhone, you can now see Jesus on your phone.
No, not that one (you’ll have to wait for the Second Coming for Him), but it’s the next best thing: The Jesus from “Jesus,” the 1979 film depicting the life of Christ according to the Gospel of Luke.
The film, which has been seen been seen more than six billion times and has led to more than 200 million professions of faith, is now available for viewing via Jesus Film Media.
Jesus Film Media is a free app that allows iPhone users to view the entire two-hour “Jesus” film as well as clips from the movie in more than one thousand languages.
Erick Schenkel, the executive director of The Jesus Film Project, said he hopes people use the technology to spread Christ’s message.
“Film provides a way to casually engage in conversation about spiritual topics. We hope the app will spark spiritual conversations and connect more people with the life-changing message of Jesus,” he said.
